On the 29th of September 2025, in Malaga, Dott. Xisco Ordinas presented the LIFE PROMETHEUS in the seminar “Seminario sobre Condrictios Mediterràneo IOE-WWF-SOLDECOCOS-ANSE, GEN-GOB junto a la red de trabajo en puertos pesqueros del Estrecho y Mediterràneo Occidental (OPP72 de Conil, OPP85 de Motril, OPP78 de Tarifa, OPPMALLORCA MAL, Feseraciòn Balear de Cofradìa de Pescadores de Formentera y ALmadraba de La Azohìa- Cartagena” organized by the WWF Spain and Soldecocos. The seminar was part of the program for the development of fishing gears for the management and conservation of Chondrichthyes, and the settlement of a joint action plan between the fishermen and the scientific community. 15 fishermen and stakeholders from Mallorca, Formentera, Motril, Conil and Tarifa were present, together with 16 scientists from IEO from Mallorca, Cádiz and Málaga, then the ICMAN, and Universidad de Oviedo. Also the GALPA (FLAG) from Alborán, one more person, and 10 personS from ONG which were GEN-GOB from Pitiusas, WWF Spain and Mediterranean, ANSE (from southeast Peninsula) and Soldecocos, and Malaga Preservation Foundation.
