MER and UNIVPM teams participated in the European Researchers’ Night

The MER and UNIVPM teams participated in the European Researchers’ Night on 26 September 2025, focusing on sharks and rays by presenting the species that occur in Cyprus and in Italy, respectively, and the conservation and bycatch-mitigation actions implemented within LIFE PROMETHEUS. The booth attracted several thousand visitors, including large groups of primary and secondary school students, teachers, families, and adults, effectively raising awareness about elasmobranch ecology and promoting responsible interaction with the Mediterranean marine environment.
