We’re proud to be one of the organizers of the inaugural international gathering to advance solutions to marine megafauna #bycatch in #fisheries: the International Forum on Bycatch of Marine Megafauna (IFBMM)!

The IFBMM will cover all facets of #marinemegafauna #bycatch, from monitoring to assessment to mitigation, with a packed agenda focused on solutions. The event is for anyone who has a part to play in finding the most practical ways for fishers to thrive while avoiding the accidental capture of seabirds, marine mammals, turtles, sharks, skates, and rays.

Abstracts for presentations, workshops, and posters can be submitted from today until 31 January 2027. Successful applicants will be notified in advance of the deadline for early bird registrations on 1 June 2027.
